You do not use a base coat with our treatments or jelly&#x2019;s. Jelly nail treatments can be worn alone or to lock-in extra shine and extend wear apply with butter LONDON Hardwear&#x2122; Shine UV Topcoat. As these are treatments and not polishes, the coverage will not last as long as a polish does.

Do I need to use a top coat and/or base coat with the treatment polishes or jelly nail treatments?

To remove the Mellow the Yellow, you can use our Nail Scrubbers https://www.butterlondon.com/nail-scrubbers to remove the treatment. You can do this whenever you would like a fresh manicure or a fresh nail treatment.

When using Mellow the Yellow, do you use nail polish remover and when?

Yes! This is very normal. The reason this happens is because we use a clean nail-loving formula for all our nail lacquer hues. If you find your nail lacquer has some separation, give it a gentle shake or roll the bottle between the palms of your hands to avoid unwanted air bubbles. Your lacquer is now ready for use!

I received my Nail Lacquer, and the product looks separated. Is this normal?

Yes! While &quot;nail lacquer&quot; and &quot;nail polish&quot; are often used interchangeably, nail lacquer is a more durable and glossy type of nail polish. Our lacquers contain good-for-nail ingredients that make them thicker, more chip-resistant and longer-lasting than traditional polish.
